DISCLAIMERS
All motorcycles
for sale are insurance write-off salvages unless otherwise
stated. The registration on these motorcycles has been
cancelled, registration plates have been handed in to the RTA
and a WOVA (Written off Vehicle Advice) with damage coding has been
lodged with the RTA in the relevant state by the insurance
company. R=
Repairable Write-off. This motorcycle
requires a blue slip for an insurance write-off (available
anywhere standard blue slips are available) before it can be
re-registered. As a part of the anti theft measures taken on by
the RTA you may be required to produce receipts for any repairs,
replacement parts and/or materials purchased to carry out
repairs to the motorcycle. At the time of re-registration the
RTA will request an Auvis (Authorised Unregistered Vehicle Inspection
Station) check. The RTA also conduct VIIU (Vehicle Identity Inspection
Unit) checks on all vehicles
that have been entered on WOVR (Written off Vehicle Register) . These
checks are to ensure the identity of
the motorcycle has not been altered or tempered with in anyway. The RTA
currently charge a $55.00 Booking Fee (Non refundable unless
more than 24hrs notice of cancellation is given) and a $351.00
Inspection Fee (Refundable upon cancellation) for all VIIU inspections on vehicles entered on WOVR. Our staff
cannot contact the RTA on your behalf or make RTA appointments.
Appointments must be made at the RTA in person. For more
detailed information contact RTA direct on 132213. SW= Statutory Write-off: This motorcycle is a statutory write-off and cannot be re-registered. These motorcycles are suitable for wrecking or track. If you intend to use the vehicle for track it is best to ensure that you keep your receipt safe as random checks on motorcycles are carried out at various events around Australia. Warranties:
All motorcycles are salvages and are sold as is. NO warranty is
expressed or implied. We do not alter the motorcycles in anyway.
We do not carry out damage inspections on any of the motorcycles
nor can we provide a list of repairs required. We endeavour to
show all the visible damage to the motorcycles in the
photographs and we disclose any non visible damage we know
about in the descriptions on this website however with all
accident damaged motorcycles there is a possibility of hidden
damage. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to attend our
showroom and inspect the motorcycle for damage prior to
tendering. As always it is advisable that a frame check is
carried out on any accident damaged motorcycle.
Accessories: If
the motorcycle you are tendering on has any non standard
accessory that affects the tender price offered or is a
significant factor in your decision to purchase the motorcycles
please contact our office to ensure the item is still with the
motorcycle prior to tendering. Salvages are photographed at the
time of the write-off and then transported to our storage unit
Occasionally an after market accessory or a rack etc than is
later found to be not covered by the policy will be shown in the
photographs. The previous owner of the motorcycle is entitled to
attend our storage unit and remove the aftermarket item and
replace it with a standard item. We do our best to ensure new
photographs are taken prior to advertising however with our high
turn over rate it is possible to inadvertently miss one. KEYS: We make
every effort to obtain all available keys to the motorcycle,
however it is not always possible to do so and we are not
responsible for keys where the motorcycle is sold without them.
We cannot provide details of the previous owner to any purchaser
under any circumstances due to the privacy act. Please check the
listing to ensure that the keys to the motorcycle are available.
For motorcycles with security systems please ensure that you
have contacted us and confirmed that we have the red key. I Confirm that
